Features of the Nazi Occupation Policy towards the Karaites in the Krasnodar Region (1942–1943)

Aspects of the politics of the German occupation authorities on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory in 1942–1943 are revealed in relation to Karaites, as well as to members of their families in mixed marriages. The author analyzes archival documents and evidence regulating their civil and legal status in the occupied territory of the region. Based on the study of the established facts of persecution of
the Karaites during this period of time, the reasons and consequences of their physical extermination in individual settlements together with the victims of the Holocaust are given.
