A Lead Seal from the Early Cossack Town of Trailin is a New 17th Century Sphragistic Source
Casimir found during the excavations of the Cossack town of Trailin is given. It is hypothesized that in the context of the historical events of the 17th century, the Peasant War led by Stepan Razin and the Russian-Polish War of 1654-1667, this artifact may indicate a possible correspondence between the Polish king and the Don Cossacks and their actions in difficult political times.
