Evaluative Associative Dominants in the Associative-Verbal Network of Russian-Kabardin and Russian-Balkar Bilinguals: a Parametric Analysis
Evaluative associative dominants as the core nodes of the associative-verbal network of natural bilinguals are the main source of information about their value orientations. Parametric analysis of the composition of associative fields (AP) of the stimulus words good, bad, good, bad allows us to identify the features of the functioning of evaluative dominants in the associative-verbal network of bilinguals.
The parameterization method, or the quantitative assessment of the essential features (parameters) of these nuclear units, makes it possible to describe a set of associative evaluative dominants in terms of their volume, extent and stereotype. In particular, the longest in terms of the number of diverse connections in the
associative-verbal network is the use of a stimulus word denoting a general negative assessment of bad.
A high degree of stereotyping is characterized by the composition of a stimulus word expressing an overall positive assessment of well.
